Hi All,

This post is for all you fishermen out there. There have been some BIG fish pulled out of Alaskan waters over the years. Taking a look at these beauts is gonna have you packing your fishing gear and heading for Alaska! Here are just a few of the record holders:

King (Chinook) Salmon

  • 97 pounds, 4 ounces - Kenai River

Silver (Coho) Salmon

  • 26 pounds - Icy Strait

Halibut

  • 459 pounds - Unalaska Bay

Pink Salmon

  • 12 pounds, 9 ounces - Moose River

Rockfish

  • 38 pounds, 11 ounces - Prince William Sound

Sockeye (Red) Salmon

  • 16 pounds - Kenai River

Chum Salmon

  • 32 pounds - Caamano Point
